I am on a trip with a bunch of foodies, touring Scotland and Ireland for 17 days. Our plan is to learn about these countries through sightseeing, local cuisine, whiskey, wines and enjoying the company of the group and locals. I was (and still am) excited about this trip and the chance to experience new things and meet new people. Most of all, I am excited to spend 17 days away from my daily life for the first time ever.
Years ago, a speaker at a Leadership seminar I attended said that a 10-minute break every hour is optimal for peak performance. How is taking a break every hour productive? It seems so counterintuitive!
