Welcome to 2019. Once again, we start with 365 blank pages to accomplish our goals.
When approaching the turn, drivers will look at the apex, which allows the driver to know when and how hard to turn into the corner. Usually as the driver looks at the apex and visualizes the turn, the mind and body will follow suit.
For instance, when I was taking Driver’s Education many, many years ago, I learned an important lesson. I happened to look away from the road and to my left. I soon realized that the car had also drifted a little bit to the left- my mind went to what my eye saw.
Visualization is a large practice in goal setting and achievement. Visualization and planning help in seeing the outcome and possible obstacles that may arise around the corner so that you know how hard to lean into them. As the year gets started and as you plan for it, keep an eye around the corner, anticipate what is coming and lean into it, even if it’s uncomfortable.
“You can never really know where exactly people are looking at! At the place they are staring at? Or at their past? Or at their future?” ― Mehmet Murat ildan.
Stare at your future.
Have a great weekend
