New Year Plan with decorations

New Year Plan with decorationsIts 2020. Some say it’s a new decade while others say we have another year to go. Whether 2020 marks a new decade or not, I’m just glad 2019 is behind us.

The past year has been a roller coaster on so many fronts and truth be told, the last 2 years have given me my share of ups and downs. Some of it has been out of my control, but some of it was squarely in my court. I was to blame, at least for a while, for some of the bad parts of last year. I did nothing to change the situation I was in. While taking no action is, in itself, an action, the consequence is no change. That was my challenge for some of the issues. I did nothing , I took no action and the consequence of that was that nothing happened. My fault.

Taking action, whether it turns out to be the right one or not, always puts you in control of your circumstances, instead of being a victim of those circumstances. In situations where I did act, sometimes I made the wrong decision which I later corrected and sometimes it was the right decision with awesome results. Either way, I made a decision and moved forward and never really lost.

January 1st starts a fresh year for all of us. This year, challenge yourself to take control by taking action; no matter the outcome, you’ll be better for it.

“There are risks and costs to action. But they are far less than the long range risks of comfortable inaction.”  – John F. Kennedy

In 2020 I wish you tons of decisive action and a Happy News Year ?

Vijay
