PULSE March 2021

Welcome to the PULSE!

Can you believe it’s been a whole year since our lives changed so profoundly? This time last year, we were fearfully headed into a sea of unknowns. Now, with a few months of 2021 under our belts, we are beginning to see the light at the end of the tunnel!

As we welcomed 2021 with open arms, we set our sights on new year’s resolutions—data resolutions! During the pandemic, while some businesses struggled, many were able to successfully maintain business continuity and resilience. The key to their success? Data. In January’s blog post, Sanjay urged us to rethink our philosophies around data—to delve more deeply into how we can use data to stay agile, respond to threats or opportunities at a moment’s notice and spur growth.

In February, we zeroed in on data security—another pandemic hot topic. Sadly, hackers used vulnerabilities created by the pandemic-forced remote workplace to launch cyberattacks around the globe. In his article, “How Secure is Your Data?”, Sanjay offered ten tips for securing your data in 2021 and beyond.

Vijay continued to give us hope and inspiration during the dark months of winter in his Friday Food for Thought series. He talked about building trust, the difference between character and morality and channeling anger in a constructive way, while encouraging us to connect more with others. We also welcomed a guest FFfT contributor, Helene, who reminded us to appreciate life’s simplest gifts.

We’d be remiss if we didn’t mention the launch of our Client Centricity program in Q1, marking a renewed focus on building long-term partnerships with our clients and continuing to serve as a reliable resource to support business success. In the spirit of transparency and making continued improvements, we delivered our first Net Promoter Score Survey to customers. Stay tuned in the coming months for more!

And last (but certainly not least) we are excited to announce the addition of two new members to our J2 family. Please join us in welcoming Nick Haskins, AE, and Abbie Wingerd, Recruiter, to the team!
